Sexy Ladies

After four long years, the wait is over. Sarah Jessica Parker and the cast of Sex and the City are reuniting! And, the good news is that we no longer have to wait until the May 30th movie premiere. We can see Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, Charlotte and Mr. Big on Oprah Thursday!

Madonna Live In Concert

If you needed a reason to love MSN, here it is: MSN Music will broadcast Madonna live from the Roseland Ballroom in NYC April 30th at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

I don't know about you, but I'll take all the free Madonna concert's I can get! What a brilliant way to celebrate yesterday's release of her new album.

Miley's Vanity

Here's what I'll say: The (above) photo of Miley Cyrus, taken by über-famous photographer Annie Leibovitz, is beautiful and, yes, artistic. Was it the right choice for her very Disneyesque career? No, but only because the American public puts so much pressure on today's young stars to be "the perfect role model."

OK, so Miley is only 15-years-old, but she's also a globe-trotting superstar, and if that's what the American public's going to make her, and if they're going to give her the HUGE responsibility of being a role model at such a young age, then they better accept the fact that she's going to mature a hell of a lot faster than any other teenager. And, they need to give her a break when she makes a mistake.

Britney Looks Great

Britney Spears is pictured (above) leaving an L.A. recording studio on April 26. And, she's currently working on her second guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother. It's wonderful to see her so motivated!

The We Campaign

On the Oprah Winfrey Show, the man with the world on his shoulders, Al Gore, spoke about the need for elected leaders to make climate change a priority. With the We Campaign, more than a million people have joined his call for action. Please add your voice today, click HERE!

Celebs Attend Coachella

A star-studded crowd visited the Coachella Music festival this weekend. Fashion Icon Sienna Miller and Kelly Osbourne wore matching Rayban sunglasses as they strolled around the desert. And, in the words of my sister, "only Sienna could pull off those boots."

The girls were among those who enjoyed Prince's performance from the packed VIP area, which also included Paris Hilton hand-in-hand with Benji Madden. In my opinion, Benji "cleans up" more and more each day.

What's The Buzz?

Friday, my family and I had a religious experience. It was Major! We went to see Jesus Christ Superstar, which was also Ted Neeley's farewell tour. It was a moving experience, to say the least. It was the second time we saw the Broadway musical, but it was the first time we saw the more modern version. [FYI: There is an original production, and a revival].

Considering the fact that we have watched the movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar every Good Friday for as long as I can remember, we had to wait at the stage door after the show. As luck would have it, the stage manager brought us backstage to "be with the lord." We talked to Jesus/Ted for nearly 20 minutes, and it is clear that he has taken a lot away form the role. He answered all of our questions, gave us advice on how to achieve our dreams, and when he signed our playbill's, he wrote separate messages to each of us that strangely reflected our lives. It was biblical.

And, speaking of incredible experiences, yesterday I purchased my tickets to see Daniel Radcliffe in Equus on Broadway this fall! I am so excited to be going to the hottest show on the planet! Harry Potter, here I come!

Early Release!

Madonna debuted her new album Friday on MySpace, four days before the album's official release date, April 29th.

I've only had the chance to listen to "Candy Shop," "Give It 2 Me," "Heartbeat," "Miles Away," and (my favorite thus far) "She's Not Me." This is going to be a really hot/up-beat album, and I'm surprised how Pharrell Williams took so much creative control. Brilliant!

Everybody Wants To See Miley

Y'all really must watch this opening segment from the 2008 CMT Awards. I couldn't find an HQ version, so this will have to do:

Weekend Update

Jimmy Fallon will take over for Conan O'Brien in early 2009, when Conan takes Jay Leno’s seat on The Tonight Show. And, SNL creator Lorne Michaels will produce.

My "Seeing Eye Gay"

UGLY BETTY returned last night, and I am so happy to have the seriously fabulous Marc St. James back in my life!

The episode, Twenty-Four Candles, was really funny. However, I do wish there would have been more involving Amanda, who is still on a high about finding her father, Kiss guitarist Gene Simmons.

Next week's episode will be fierce, as PR Winner Christian Siriano makes a guest appearance!!!

McCain Slams Bush

I don't agree with Sen. John McCain on the majority of the issues, however, I do think he's an intelligent man, and I found this CNN report quite interesting:

Sen. John McCain blasted the Bush administration and all levels of government Thursday for the failed response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

"We know we didn't have the right kind of leadership ... where government agencies were getting information from watching cable television rather than have a flow of information," McCain said during an event at Xavier University in New Orleans.

"It was not only a perfect storm as far as its physical impact ... it was a perfect storm as far as the federal, state and local governments' inability."

"Never again will there be a mismanaged natural disaster," he said, later assuring the crowd that "it will never happen again in this country; you have my commitment and my promise."

McCain cited numerous mistakes made by Bush, including his initial decision to fly over the area soon after the storm rather than stop for a visit.

Fergie's Sexy New Song

Fergie is funking up the silver screen with "Labels or Love," the new Sex and the City: The Movie theme song. Although her version is fast-paced pop, the song also gives a nod to the original HBO series by incorporating the show's classic instrumental theme at the beginning and end.

"I grew up watching Sex and the City and I know a lot of my girlfriends did as well," says Fergie. "We felt like these characters were our friends, so to be a part of this project has been amazing."

Fergie's song appears both in the film and on the Sex and the City: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, available May 27.

Iron Man

Update: Sadly, I had to remove my new Iron Man widget because it was screwing up my laptop. Sorry.

HOPE

I've been MIA for the last couple of days. On Monday, I helped welcome Sen. Barack Obama to the Peterson Events Center. When he first took the stage, I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I broke down in tears. Nothing can compare to the feeling you get when you are surrounded by thousands of people who believe in something just as much as you do. And when the crowd began to chant, "Yes We Can," you could tell that they meant it with all of their hearts. We know what's at stake in this election, everything.

From the minute the rally ended, I dedicated the next 24 hours to the April 22nd election day and the Get Out The Vote effort. I canvassed, made phone calls, worked the polls, passed out flyer's, and did everything I could, with the help of some amazing people, to help Barack win the state of Pennsylvania primary.

Sadly, CNN projected Hillary Clinton the winner within minutes after the polls closed. Yes, it had some people in tears, including me. But, our efforts were not in vain. Only a small margin separated the two in PA, and Barack is still well ahead in states won, pledged delegates, and the popular vote. His loss in PA will only make his win that much more triumphant!

Barack Obama's words sum it up beautifully:

"We know, the battle ahead will be long. But always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.

We have been told, we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics; they will only grow louder and more dissonant. We've been asked, to pause for a reality check. We've been, warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America there has never been anything false about hope.

We will remember that there is something happening in America. That we are not as divided as our politics suggests. That we are one people; we are one nation. And together, we will begin the next great chapter, in the American story with three words that will ring from coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - YES, WE, CAN!"

Update: Barack just received endorsements from 49 prominent supporters of John Edwards, which will play a key role in the upcoming North Carolina primary!

Makin' Music And TV With Britney

After spending time in a Burbank recording studio all week, PEOPLE is reporting that Britney Spears is heading back to CBS! A source says Brit is set to film one more episode of How I Met Your Mother. This is wicked news!

Wardrobe Malfunction?

Everyone is talking about the Missoni gown and velvet Marc Jacobs headband Mary-Kate Olsen wore to the New Yorkers for Children celebration of ‘New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete' gala the other night.

Obviously, she is being fined by the Fashion Police, but it's Mary-Kate Olsen, what did you expect? Apparently, she had just come from a photo shoot and had no time for a wardrobe change, and when asked about the outfit, MK just shrugged and said, “I had nothing to wear."

On Stands Now

I made my weekly Borders pit-stop yesterday, and here's what I'll be reading this weekend: The latest issue of W Magazine, featuring Cameron Diaz (who looks even better on this cover than she did on the cover of the December '06 issue, as a brunette) and the most recent issue of ELLE Magazine, featuring Madonna!

And, check out one of the stars of HBO's Big Love, Chloë Sevigny, on the cover of the new BlackBook! If you watch the show, then you're used to seeing her look like a homely compound peasant, but on this cover that is clearly not the case.

Oh, What A Night!

One of my favorite musicals ever, Jersey Boys, celebrated it's 1,000th performance on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre on Thursday!

I'd like to congratulate Jersey Boys on all the shows, and the countless box office records set along the way!

Suri Turns 2!

Today, the world's most stylish celebritot, Suri Cruise, turns 2-years-old! Happy Birthday!

I wonder if she plans to party with the Beckham boys?

Underwood Update

Carrie Underwood looked lovely, as always, at the CMT Awards on Monday. Before performing in a Betsey Johnson dress, Carrie hit the red carpet in a Badgley Mischka Platinum dress, Tiffany & Co. jewels, Mary Norton clutch and Rene Caovilla sandals.

For some reason, when I tried to watch my DVR'd version of the show, it cut off before Carrie sang "All-American Girl." Luckily, I found a nice HQ version of the performance on youtube. Enjoy!

And, following in the footsteps of her American Idol predecessor Kelly Clarkson, Carrie has signed a deal with vitamin water. Here are a few pictures of her on the set of a commercial:

Love You CD!

I would like to publicly offer my condolences to Cameron Diaz, on the loss of her father, Emilio Diaz, who died suddenly of pneumonia on Tuesday. He was only 58-years-old.

In a message released by her representative today, Cameron says, "My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time for us and all of our family. My dad was loved by so many people, and his humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”

Cameron is such a beautiful person, she truly makes the world a brighter place, and it breaks my heart to know that she’s hurting. Please keep her, and her family, in your prayers.

Cynthia Nixon Beats Breast Cancer

It’s not often that a celebrity’s private life stays private. However, a year and a half ago, "Sex and the City" co-star Cynthia Nixon was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she successfully kept it to herself.

"I didn't really want to make it public while I was going through it,” Cynthia told “Nightline’s” Cynthia McFadden. “I didn't want paparazzi at the hospital, that kind of thing."

After the "Sex and the City" series wrapped, Nixon won a Tony award and was starring in the off-Broadway play "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" when she received the news.

"I felt scared," Cynthia said. "I thought, 'Oh, I don't want this to be happening.' I was very cognizant of if it's going to happen, this is the best way for it to happen, that it's found so early and we can just get right on it."

Breast cancer was a subject "Sex and the City" tackled long before Nixon's diagnosis. Cynthia said she believes the show handled the story of one character's cancer "beautifully."

Now doing well, Cynthia will team up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R) as an Ambassador. Speaking openly about her own diagnosis, she will help the global breast cancer organization reach millions with critical breast health messages, including the importance of early detection.

Kobe And The Lakers Are No. 1

I would like to congratulate my team, the Los Angeles Lakers, on beating the Spurs, 106-85, on Sunday to gain the No. 1 spot in the West! And, please enjoy one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen:

Kobe's two little girls, 5-year-old Natalia and an almost 2-year-old Gianna, held up signs with mom, Vanessa.

An Idol And A Birthday

Here's a cute picture of a comfortable looking Carrie Underwood making her way through LAX after a very glamorous appearance on Idol Gives Back. I hope I get to see her in concert (again) this summer!

And, it looks like April is the month for Birthday's. So, here's a shout-out to one of my sisters BFFs, Dustin: Happy Birthday!

Desperate Returns!

Wisteria Lane survived a tornado, but more tempests are coming when ABC's Desperate Housewives returns tonight!

USA TODAY is reporting that executive producer Marc Cherry and his writers had to condense plots to adjust to the shorter season, so "something huge is going to happen in every single episode.”

Tonight’s episode will pick up from January's inadvertent cliffhanger, when the daughter of recent arrival Katherine learned details of a secret her mother had been hiding since her earlier time on Wisteria Lane.

Viewers will "start getting a sense of what it was Katherine did 12 years ago," says Cherry, who promises to resolve that mystery by the end of the two-hour season finale.

The episode will also feature guest star Chris Carmack (fans of The OC rejoice, Luke Ward is back!) who will drop a clue about the mystery and gets into a romantic entanglement that upsets his cousin, Susan.

Tina Fey And Oprah, BFFs?

E! News correspondent, Kristin Dos Santos has reported that a Chicagoland source just wrote her with some fabulous news, Oprah may guest star on “30 Rock” as Tina Fey’s Best Friend!

The source wrote, "I just got back from a taping of The Oprah show starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for Baby Mama… it looks like Oprah may be a guest on 30 Rock next season!”

“They were talking during a break, and Oprah said 'Have your people, call my people,' but she was definitely interested,” said the source.

Just two weeks ago, while discussing some dream casting options for her NBC comedy 30Rock, Tina Fey told reporters, "I still want Oprah to play my best friend. I feel like I want to spend time with Oprah, and I don't know what I need to do to make that happen..."

If this were to happen, it would be a gigantic hit! If there’s anyone who can bring in more ratings than a Britney Spears episode of “How I Met Your Mother,” it’s Oprah.

Grab A Boy, And Grab A Girl

Madonna's new music video is HOT! I mean, I literally had to stand up and cheer after watching it! For anyone who had watched the PEOPLE "sneak peek" (over and over again), that wasn't even half of the video's concept. Madge looks incredible! Justin looks insanely sexy. And, when the two of them are dancing together (and in the car) it's almost too much for me to take! Check it out:

Encores! Headliners

This is from Broadway.com: Tony Award winner and 30 Rock TV star Jane Krakowski and Will & Grace alum Sean Hayes will headline Damn Yankees this summer at New York City Center's Encores! Summer Stars series. The classic musical will run from July 5 to July 27 at New York City Center, directed by John Rando (The Wedding Singer, Urinetown), with music direction by Rob Berman. A July 10 opening is planned.

AHH! I MUST SEE THIS! Sean is the love of my life.

In Theaters Today

Professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) might be imperiously brilliant, monumentally self-possessed and an intellectual giant--but when it comes to solving the conundrums of love and family, he's as downright flummoxed as the next guy. His collegiate son won't confide in him, his teenaged daughter (Ellen Page) is an acid-tongued overachiever who follows all too closely in dad's misery-loving footsteps, and his adopted, preposterously ne'er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Church) has perfected the art of freeloading. A widower who can't seem to find passion in anything anymore, not even Victorian Literature in which he's an expert, it seems Lawrence is sleepwalking through a very stunted middle age. When his brother shows up unexpectedly for an extended stay at just about the same time as he accidentally encounters his former student Janet (Sarah Jessica Parker), the circumstances cause him to stir from his deep, deep freeze, with consequences for himself and everyone around him.

FYI: You must go see this movie, because "yours truly" is one of Professor Wetherhold's Victorian Literature students!!!

Update: I saw the movie. It's charming, and Thomas Haden Church is hilarious. But, sadly, I ended up on the cutting room floor. I guess I'll have to cross my fingers for the DVD deleted scenes!

KB24 Has Got Air!

Check out this awesome video of my man Kobe Bryant jumping over an Aston Martin traveling at 50mph! "Hollywood" or not, this video is really entertaining. Also, note that Kobe is wearing his new Nike Hyperdunk shoes. At only 13.0 ounces, the Hyperdunk is 18 percent lighter than the average Nike basketball shoe, and will hit US retail in late July.

Let's get the chant going... MVP! MVP! MVP!

American Idol Gave Back

Ryan Seacrest announced on Thursday that 'Idol Gives Back' has raised at least $60 million for charity! And, they're still taking donations.

The event sure brought a diverse group of people together. Brad Pitt, Bono... Britney Spears reportedly donated $25,000 to the cause. Even presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain made an appearance on Thursday nights show!

It really is amazing what this reality show can do.

And, check out these precious pictures of little David Archuleta:

Can we just crown him the winner already?! Just kidding.

It's All Official

'Harry Potter' stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths, will reprise their work in Equus for Broadway! Previews begin on September 5th, and opening night is scheduled for September 25th! The production will play through February 8, 2009 at the Broadhurst Theatre (which is quite small, so tickets will be hard to come by for us muggles).

Tickets will go on sale to all American Express Card members April 12 at 9 AM ET by calling (212) 239-6200 or by visiting www.telecharge.com. And, tickets go on sale to the general public on April 26th.

I'm already planning my trip!!! I don't know what I'll do when I see D-Rad!

The Fab Four Hit The Red Carpet

The stars of Sex and the City: The Movie reunited on the red carpet Monday night at a Point Foundation benefit in New York City.

Getting all four actresses in one place is "very rare," Sarah Jessica Parker told PEOPLE.

Meanwhile the reunion was going straight to Kim Cattrall's head. "It's like champagne," she said of seeing all her fellow costars. "It's intoxicating. My heart flutters a little bit."

Parker, Cattrall and Kristen Davis were all there to cheer on Cynthia Nixon, who was being honored with a Point Courage Award for living an openly gay lifestyle.

"Its nice when someone thinks that the way you're living is nice enough that you should receive an award for it," Nixon told PEOPLE.

The Calvin Klein-clad actress accepted the award with humility and grace. "When you're a young gay person, you yearn for nothing so much as the presence of other gay people," she said, "most especially, an older generation of gay people who can encourage and inspire you."

"The way she lives her life is good work," added Parker, who was also on hand to present the Point Inspiration Award to Time Warner. "She leads by example."

American Idol Leaves Brad Pitt Speechless

PEOPLE reports that the crowd whet wild when Brad took the stage at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater to tape a segment for Fox’s second annual Idol Gives Back special, making talking impossible.

And after nearly 30 seconds of cheers, Pitt tried to say “thank you,” but his microphone wasn’t working.

As ‘Idol’ stage manager Debbie McVickers hurried to fix Pitt’s microphone, she joked to the crowd about the “moment,” saying, “I just needed a reason to touch him!”
Then, when a female production assistant came out to make sure the mic was affixed properly, McVickers joked again, “We need more women to touch him.”

Last year, American Idol Gives Back raised more than $75 million for domestic and international charities. This year, producer Nigel Lythgoe told the audience minutes before the taping began that he “could feel” the show would crack the $100-million mark.

In fact, the show has already exceeded that amount thanks to a $200 million pledge by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

The broadcast will air Wednesday, April 9 at 7:30pm. And, trust me, you don't want to miss this!

Update: PEOPLE is reporting that in addition to hosting FOX’s Idol Gives Back special, Ryan Seacrest also handed over his paycheck for the evening.

A source close to Seacrest tells PEOPLE that he wanted to show fans that he was serious about the cause.

“When he and Simon went to Africa last year and saw the children, it was really life-altering for him,” says the source. “He just knew he had to do his part and be willing to put his money where his mouth is.”

Hardball With Ellen Degeneres

As you may already know, a few weeks ago MSNBC's Chris Matthews was a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show. The duo had been looking forward to dancing with each other for months, but when they finally got the chance, things went horribly wrong. And it was hilarious! Enjoy:

Then, Ellen explained what happened during one of her more recent monologues:

Martin Scorsese Shines Light On The Stones

The new Rolling Stones concert documentary, directed by Martin Scorsese, opened on Friday to rave reviews, obviously. And, seeing as I've had such a crummy life and have never been to a 'Stones' concert, I can't wait to see it! [FYI: I was just kidding about having a "crummy life," nothing could be farther from the truth.]

"When they said they wanted to make a movie of the tour, I went, 'Oh no.' And then they said, 'but its Martin Scorsese.' And I said, 'oh yes,' says Keith Richards.

The concert was filmed at the Beacon Theater in New York City in the Fall of 2006, and features musical guests including Christina Aguilera, Jack White, and Buddy Guy. And, it should be noted that the Clinton family is in the audience celebrating Bill’s 60th birthday.

Apparently, the movie opens with a confused Martin Scorsese who doesn't even know the set list. And he's not the only one. Keith told Access Hollywood, "I'm like that every show. Mick wont let me know what he wants to sing until the last minute."

The Stones, who have been rockin' since the 60's, have sold over 200 million albums. But, with the documentary Scorsese wanted to capture a more intimate look at the rockers live show, which has always seemed larger than life.

It's Saturday Night Live, Bitch!

Who else was thrilled that Saturday Night Live came back last night?! Christopher Walken hosted, according to him, for the 100th time (he counts re-runs), and Panic At The Disco was the musical guest. And, thanks to SNL's official website, I'm going to post a few of my favorite skits.

The first video is of the 'Digital Short,' which is always my favorite part of the show. This week continued on Andy Samberg and Bill Hader's failed idea of everybody's "favorite" things, cats and lasers. Obviously, SNL producer/creator Lorne Michaels is never that impressed, but I am! So, enjoy the video that features Connecticut Senator, Chris Dodd.

As expected, SNL's head writer, Seth Meyers, had to reference the biggest media frenzy of the week, the pregnant man. And, I love how he can't even keep a straight face during this Weekend Update skit.

This last video is a spoof on host Christopher Walken, and what it may be like at his family reunion. Check out most of the cast giving their best Walken impressions. In my opinion, Bill Hader's the best impressionist by far!

'Sex' Talk With SJP

Filming has wrapped on Sex and the City: The Movie, but Sarah Jessica Parker, who was also a producer, continues to take charge with the finishing touches.

Sarah was the driving force in putting this movie together, telling Access Hollywood, "Something happened in the spring of 2006 where I thought 'maybe we should revisit this idea?' And, really, I never in a million years thought that I could really put it all back together, and all the pieces. But our goal was to get the four women back on that set and low and behold we did it! And, it was thrilling."

Seeing as Sex and the City:The Movie is SJP's labor of love, she said that she wanted to keep the sacred 'Sex' tradition by releasing the film at the end of May.

"We chose that time, and that date, honestly not because we sort of understood initially that that is the summer blockbuster. But, our show, it started at the beginning of summer."

So, what can the fans expect from the film? According to Sarah it will be a grown-up movie.

"I think they're gonna be happy. I think they're gonna be surprised, and they're gonna feel a lot of sadness and hopefully understand what it is that has happened in carries life. And I think that they're gonna feel a lot of contentment when the movies over."

But the closure (and the prospect of a sequel) is up to the audience.

FYI: Only 53 days left!

Shake It, Paris!

Paris Hilton, who recently made a cameo appearance on the spring premiere episode of My Name is Earl, was a judge for the Miss Turkey 2008 beauty pageant Thursday in Istanbul, and got a chance to perform with Turkish belly dancer Asena. She was very cute, and the crowd seemed to enjoy her. Check out the video for yourself:

Beyoncé And Jay-Z Say 'I Do'

Though there is no official confirmation, a source tells PEOPLE that the rapper and singer wed in a private, star-studded ceremony Friday in New York City.

The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

I've always thought that Beyoncé And Jay-Z were one of the cutest low-key celebrity couples. They've been dating for 6 years, and I think it's about time that they tied-the-knot. Cheers!

Idol Gives Back

As of today, you can start making donations to "Idol Gives Back" on the official website, HERE. I've not yet decided how much I'm going to give, or how much I can afford to give for that matter, but I am going to donate something. Imagine if we all just gave $1.00... $20.00 provides a days worth of nutritious hot meals and snacks for 3 kids in a US feeding program. And, $50.00 will buy 5 nets or enough Malaria pills to save 100 kids from Malaria in Kenya. Anything and everything can make a difference.

The money raised will go to the Children's Defense Fund, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Make It Right, Malaria No More, Save The Children, and the Children's Health Fund.

This year's event, beginning at 7:30 PM on April 9th, will include an impressive roster of talent including Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Maroon 5, Heart, Gloria Estefan, Robin Williams, Celine Dion, Forest Whitaker, Billy Crystal, Dane Cook, Kiefer Sutherland, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Jennifer Connolly, Elliott Yamin, Fantasia and Amy Adams.

Happy Sweet 17!

I'd like to wish miss Jamie Lynn Spears a very Happy 17th Birthday! I hope she has a fabulous year! She sure is a trooper. And, if anyone would like to check out Jamie & Casey's Babies R Us registry click HERE. Although, I think the link has been removed. But I do know the baby's expected arrival date is July 10th.

Sorry about the watermarks all over this adorable picture from 2006.

Obama/Gore 2008

Okay, okay. Al Gore isn't running for President, or Vice President in 2008, and I need to stop getting my hopes up. But, that doesn't mean that the Nobel Prize winner can't still be in office!!!

According to the Associated Press, Senator Barack Obama said Wednesday he would offer Al Gore a position in his Cabinet to address global warming, if he wins the White House.

“Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem,” Obama said. “He's somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I'm already consulting with him in terms of these issues, but climate change is real. It is something we have to deal with now, not 10 years from now, not 20 years from now."

And, while I'm on the subject of Mr. Gore, I'd like to encourage you to visit his new website for The We Campaign, a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection aiming to halt global warming. Click HERE! No single person will stop global warming, but by working together, we can make it a priority.

A Better Britney

Thank God, things are looking good for Britney Spears these days! She's been spending time with her family, is back in the studio, and even getting good media coverage!

But, the most exciting news is that Brit patched things up with her old manager, Larry Rudolph! Check out the story:

Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph confirms to Usmagazine.com that he has met the singer and says she's "doing great.

"I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being," Rudolph said.

He would not comment further, explaining, "this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing."

Last week, a source tells Us that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.)

"People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her," a friend of the Spears family told Us. "He's the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise."
