The First Portrait

Today, the White House released the first official portrait of the First Lady.

In the picture, Michelle poses in the White House's Blue Room wearing a black shift dress (from New York designer Michael Kors' Spring 2009 collection) and a double strand of pearls.

She is so classy!

Harry's Final Showtime

Warner Bros. announced today that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows : Part I is scheduled to open on November 19, 2010, while 'Part II' will open on July 15, 2011.

Mark that on your muggle calendars!

The First Dog: Coming Soon!

The Obama's have finally decided what kind of dog they're going to get, and when they're going to get it.

Michelle told PEOPLE that the family is looking for a rescue Portuguese Water dog who is "old enough" and a "match" for the family dynamic.

"Temperamentally they're supposed to be pretty good," she said. "From the size perspective, they're sort of middle of the road – it's not small, but it's not a huge dog. And the folks that we know who own them have raved about them. So that's where we're leaning."

And, the First Dog will be living the high life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue sooner rather than later. The Obama's plan to get the dog in April, when Malia and Sasha are on Spring Break!

The only thing left to decide is the name, and that's up to the girls.

The Hills Gets Theatrical

As much as I don't like The Hills anymore, I couldn't help but love the new trailer for the upcoming season. Well done, MTV!

Looks like I'll be watching it after all.

One Golden Night

Sunday nights Academy Awards were absolutely amazing! Hugh Jackman, the presentations, the performances, and the winners were all awesome! And, I predicted 19 of the 24 awards (my best scorecard total ever!).

I loved how, instead of showing film clips, past winners gave praise to the current nominees before announcing who had won. I also liked how the presenters were kept a secret. It definitely created suspense!

As far as the winners go; I was so happy for Kate Winslet. I cried when Heath Ledger won. I also cried during Dustin Lance Black, and Sean Penn's touching acceptance speeches. And, I started Bollywood dancing every time Slumdog Millionaire won (which was quite often)!

Speaking of 'Slumdog', I loved seeing all of the kids on the red carpet!

Oh, what a night it must have been for them!

There were so many gorgeous gowns, but Angelina Jolie, Taraji P. Henson, Halle Berry, and, surprisingly, Vanessa Hudgens are my picks for best dressed! Angie was a goddess in Elie Saab (those earrings were Kryptonite!). Taraji looked fierce in Roberto Cavalli. And both Halle and Vanessa wowed in Marchesa.

Heidi Klum was the worst dressed, by far.

What was she thinking?

And, representing for the guys (as always) was Brad Pitt, and a clean-shaven Robert Downey Jr.

At the end of the night, the stars hit the town, and here are some photos from the after parties:

It's That Time Again

The Oscar's are almost here! Can you believe it?

Tomorrow, the envelopes will be opened and a new wave of films will be given the industry's highest honor.

I think Kate Winslet will finally walk away with a win for Best Actress. Mickey Rourke will beat out Sean Penn for Best Actor gold. (After all, it is the "year of the comeback.") And, as far as Best Picture goes... it's destiny; Slumdog Millionaire will take home the nights biggest prize.

Speaking of the Oscar's, in the current issue of Vanity Fair magazine, "the Hollywood issue," Photographer Annie Leibovitz snapped portraits of this years Academy Awards' hottest actor-director combinations. Check them out:

Spring Ahead To Fall

Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie sat front-row at Wednesday's Proenza Schouler Fall 2009 ready-to-wear fashion show in Bryant Park.

The pair enjoyed the collection of structured outerwear and chic dresses.

Here are a few of the best looks:

Update: Proenza Schouler was all over the newest episode of Ugly Betty. Nice timing!

Usnavi's Dispatch

For some reason, I thought In The Heights star Lin-Manuel Miranda would be playing his final performance as "Usnavi" in the hit Broadway musical on February 18th, but I was wrong; Lin took his final bow on Sunday.

Thanks to BroadwayWorld's awesome coverage, here are a few cute pictures of his farewell:

"Washington Heights" won't be the same without him.

What's Up?

PEOPLE has just learned that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen got engaged over the holidays.

That's great! But, I still wish Rachel was dating her The OC co-star Adam Brody. Summer + Seth = Forever!

This afternoon, Angelina Jolie took daughters Zahara and Shiloh to one of their favorite New York City stores, Lee’s Art Shop.

Shiloh is making such a "Brad" face in this picture!

And, in sad news, Mickey Rourke's favorite dog, Loki, passed away yesterday.

Mickey famously thanked his dogs after he won a Golden Globe Award for his role in The Wrestler in January. Hopefully he'll win an Oscar on Sunday so he can dedicate it to Loki.

The Newest Disney Princess

Suri Cruise has finally teamed up with two of the world's biggest stars, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! Check out this adorable picture of the threesome holding hands at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom:

Update: There's more!

Disney should put these pictures in a brochure!

Holy Hottness!!!

GQ magazine has named (my man) Justin Timberlake the Most Stylish Man in America! Check out the drop-dead-gorgeous photographs by Peggy Sirota:

I applaud GQ for their choice! And it's perfect timing, because Justin debuted his William Rast clothing line at New York Fashion Week in Bryant Park last night!
