You've Gotta Love Those Jonas Bros

Most people know by now about the (unnecessary) jokes Russell Brand made about the Jonas Brothers and their promise rings, over and over again, at this past Sunday's VMA's. Well, now it's time the boys had their say. Check out the trio's response in this article by US Weekly:

The Jonas Brothers have no beef with Russell Brand after he mocked their virginity on Sunday's 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

"For us it's cool to see that he recognizes we are gentlemen," Nick Jonas told BBC's Radio 1.

During his opening monologue, Brand (a confessed former sex addict) repeatedly joked about the Jonas' purity rings, saying they should take advantage of their celeb status to get lucky.

American Idol's Jordin Sparks (who wears a purity ring) later defended the boys on stage, stating, "not every guy and a girl wants to be a s---."

Brand later apologized.

Said Kevin Jonas: "I think he focused on certain things and didn't move off of them. People's attention spans in America need more than that."

He said they didn't let the jokes ruin their nights.

"We had a lot of friends there and everybody's so nice. We had a good time."

Added Nick, "I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious."

It's nice to see them taking the high-road instead of starting a Hollywood feud. They really are gentlemen!
