Marvel Comics adaptation of Iron Man hauled in $100.7 million over the (opening) weekend and $104.2 million since debuting Thursday night. This makes the film, starring one of my favorite actors, Robert Downey Jr., the second-best premiere ever for a nonsequel, the 10th biggest opening of all time and the fourth biggest opening for a superhero movie.
