Adam Deserves 'Mad' Props

As far as American idol goes, I don't think anyone has ever taken the kind of artistic risk that Adam Lambert took last night. He sang a brilliant rendition of Tears for Fears/Gary Jules' "Mad World," and gave such a vulnerable, emotional performance. And as a result, Simon (and the rest of the judges) gave him a "standing o."
