For some strange reason, people have really been trying to bring this 15-year-old star down over the past couple of weeks.
A representative for Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, confirmed that she "does indeed rely on a body double for a brief part of her (concert) set," in the wake of accusations from disappointed fans. The body double is necessary "to help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley," said the rep in a statement. Yet some concert goers are furious because they feel that they payed good money to see the show and were "played for a fool."
Erm, welcome to show business people! I'm sure the quick transformation from Hannah to Miley really made the kids jaws drop. After all, isn't that what showbiz is about? You can't put on a good show without having a few tricks up your sleeve! If you're worried about authenticity in performing arts then I've got a tip for you, just stay home next time.
