Could a 107-page book of five fairy tales become the fastest/best selling book of 2008 in less than two weeks? Absolutely! And, that's just what has happened with J.K. Rowling's The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
The book, imagined from the wizarding world of Harry Potter, has already sold more than 2.6 million copies worldwide and has raised $6.5 million for charity (Proceeds go to the Children's High Level Group (CHLG), a charity for vulnerable children in Eastern Europe co-founded by Rowling).
Congratulations Jo! You're still No. 1! And you're back at the top of the best-sellers list where you belong!
