Sunday, December 7th, marks the 67th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Hawaii's Pearl Harbor. Nearly 2,400 Americans were killed and almost 1,180 injured when Japanese fighters bombed and sank 12 naval vessels and heavily damaged nine others.
Today, more than 2,000 World War II veterans and other observers gathered in Hawaii for a ceremony to remember the aftermath of the attack, including the B-52 bomber raid on Tokyo led by Lt. Col. James H. Doolittle.
If it weren't for "my friend" being on the Amazing Race finale tonight (Go Nick!), I'd be watching my Pearl Harbor DVD.
