She kicked off the show with her new single, "Last Name," in a bejeweled white pantsuit holding a rhinestone-bedazzled mic. It was in Vegas after all!
Then, Carrie received Top Female Vocalist honors for the third straight year! What an accomplishment!
And, Carrie wasn't the only Idol in attendance. Kellie Pickler performed the first single off her new album, "Don't You Know You're Beautiful," and was nominated for Top New Female Vocalist.
