Britney Spears is making progress, in law enforcement. Yes, it’s true! I just read an amazing article on eonline.com and here are some of the details:
Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine has proposed a "personal safety zone" law that would regulate how paparazzi do business. Zine's law would require the City Attorney's Office and LAPD to draw up new ordinances that would keep the large crowds of paparazzi, like those who follow Britney, from disturbing private businesses and residences, blocking the entrances to emergency facilities and otherwise bothering people on public streets and sidewalks.
"I don't want a repeat of what happened to Princess Diana with a celebrity in Los Angeles," Zine told the L.A. Times. "We had to have 12 officers escort [Spears] to the hospital that if not for paparazzi would have been [available] to prevent crime somewhere else. It is a major issue."
Will justice finally be served? I sure hope so!
